Hallowing
It's almost here, my friends. I do hope, for your own sake, that you have seen the signs in the fallen leaves and heeded the warnings. The time of the orange and black will soon be upon us, when we must shelter indoors, in the growing dark, amidst the ghosts and ghouls and wee little beasties. It's not too late. There is still time to perform the rites and make the preparations. It's not too late!
I have laden my table all manner of skulls and treats and Halloween goodness. The harvest lights have been strung up. My coffee table is overflowing with velour pumpkins of all sizes.
I have decorated my domain with gravestones and ghosts, the better to lure down the moon and call out the black cats.
I have performed the ritual stabbing of the gourds and squeezed their seedy innards betwixt my eager fingers.
I am prepared. I await.
Are you prepared? O friends, it is not too late for you.
Let it in. There is still time.

It's a new short story!
So it looks like my Evil-Dolly server change was a success, but if anyone should find that my site isn't loading right or is going slow, do please let me know.
Furthermore, I added a new short story called Glow Worm. Give it a gander, if you wish!

Wake up, PC!
A couple days ago I was concerned and frustrated when my pc started randomly resetting and its ssd's began to vanish. It continued on until the next day, and many a research suggested it could be, well, anything! Anything from old drivers to bad drives. My poor, sick computer!
So I thought, thought, thought. Then it occurred to me that this all started during a day-long thunderstorm. Well, perhaps the power supply was dying, I reasoned. So I did some emergency computer transplant surgery and replaced the psu with one from an old computer... and, so far, it's working fine!
My god, am I amazing!
Also, I'm just polishing up a new short story I'll be posting soon. No spoilers, tho!

Heartless
Excitement abounds! My novella Heartless is now available as an e-book on Amazon! Released on Valentine's Day, don't you know. How appropriate! How romantic...
"In this darkly romantic, psychological thriller of love, loyalty and
cruelty, Layla is on a desperate hunt for her missing girlfriend Iris.
Bizarre, sweet Iris has a mysterious past which she refuses to explain,
yet the crimes done against her are etched into her body and mind. Layla
fears the worst: that the people who once held Iris captive for many
years have located and kidnapped her. But Layla’s mission falters when
she finds herself, alone and helpless, in the clutches of that same
sadistic cult. Faced with a terrible monster from Iris's past, Layla
doubts she will be able to free herself, much less rescue her missing
lover. Will her love be strong enough to save her and find mercy in the
hearts of the merciless? Do you ever really know the person with whom
you are sharing your bed?"
I worked really hard over the past month or so getting this together and looking nice, since it's my first time doing the layout and conversion. I had to learn from the ground up. Sooo much research. But I wanted to make it a quality product for my wonderful readers, so it was worth it. I also did the cover art and photography, thanks to a great friend who was willing to surrender her flesh and bleed for art.
And now it's out there, for all the world to see. If you've read it and enjoyed it, please consider leaving a kindly review on Amazon. It really helps get other people interested!
