Spring cookies

Spring is here!  The redbuds are budulating, the pollen tassels are ... tasseling.  I went to the store today and noticed they were selling Girl Scout cookies outside, so I got some.  I got thin mints, samoas, and a shortbread.  I was never a girl scout, of course (though now I understand they allow transgender girls in, so that's cool).  My older sister was one, though, so we always had cookies of each type every year.  One year, when I was 6 or 7, we volunteered our carport to be the distribution point for the local troop.  The carport was filled with hundreds of boxes, each packed with dozens of color-coded cookie boxes.  Rainbow stacks of different colored boxes.  Cookies everywhere!  Many a samoa and peanut butter patty fell that year.
